So apparently eating chocolate negates the effects of a Dementor. So lets say there was a Dementor attack; would you be safe and/or invulnerable if you were inside a chocolate factory? It seems feasible that just inhaling the fumes would offer some kind of protection; apparently the smell of chocolate is almost as pleasureable as the taste, and in France they apparently have these little sachets that have nothing in them, they just smell like chocolate. Actually I might have just imagined that, but I'm pretty sure it was in
New Scientist or something. I read that magazine a lot, so I think I might sometimes try and validate my ramblings by subconciously creating non-existent articles from
New Scientist to back them up.
This is beside the point.
So lets say I was a worker in a chocolate factory, and work with chocolate every day, would this mean that I am invulnerable to Dementor attacks? Or, on the other hand, does it mean that I have become so accustomed to the smell of chocolate that if I were attacked by a Dementor, eating chocolate would not negate the effects of the attack?
I was thinking about this while I walked home, it was about an hours worth of walking, but I think I negated any positive effects it may have had on me by buying and then consuming far too much chocolate at a supermarket on the way.
